Hezbollah Terrorist Member Wanted by US, Released in Germany

http://www.expatica.com/source/site_article.asp?subchannel_id=52&story_id=26349&name=Hezbollah+member+released+in+Germany

This article was headlined on Google news around 12:15pm today.

I shake my head in anger and disgust! Another example of why liberals cannot be trusted with our security or that of our allies. Germany released a known terrorist and murderer after serving a 13 year prison sentence. What the heck is wrong them?
Isnt' it interesting that Germany publicly condemns the President of Iran's hateful speach but "secretly" releases a Lebanese terrorist? There is no guessing how Germany truly feels about Israel.

Mmmmm, Pastured Poultry is Yummy!

Did you ever wonder how they get those Clementines to look so perfect all the way from Spain? Read the fine print on that fancy wooden crate and you will be educated. I wonder how healthy they really are...

Thanksgiving was almost 3 weeks ago. We decided to stay home because my wife was nearly due with our second child. Thank goodness for Breakaway Farms! We had just received a 20+ pound half turkey from Nate. Thank goodness the half fit in the roaster bag! This bird must have been massive! We thoroughly enjoyed the turkey. It was tasty and filling. Plus, it felt good to know where it came from; that it ate good wholesome, organic, grain along with the grass, bugs and treats it found in the pasture where it lived.

Yesterday my Mother-in-law was with us for Sunday dinner. We roasted one Breakaway Farms pastured chickens. Some chickens from the grocery store don't have much taste even though they look yellow. This 5.4lb chicken's legs and thighs fed 3 adults and 1 toddler. We didn't even touch the breasts! Granted, some of us consumed inordinate amounts of sour cream with our potatoes but this chicken fills you up! It tastes delicious and isn't so oily like the grocery store chicken.

We are looking forward to receiving our first order of Breakaway Farm's salad bar beef in a few weeks. We gladly spend part our limited food budget on clean, healthy meats from Breakaway Farms. I'd rather see our friend, FarmerNate, make a profit than the local grocery store who would probably build a stadium or arena with it's name on it.

USATODAY.com - Despite ban, farmers still use pesticide

USATODAY.com - Despite ban, farmers still use pesticide

I have to wonder if people would change their buying habits if they knew how some of the food they are able to purchase was produced. A farmer's top priority, I think, should be taking care of his soil. He should strive to protect and increase his topsoil. Healthy, fertile soil grows healthy, lush produce. It makes sense doesn't it?
I like capitalism. American people have benefitted from it and most have lived happy, productive and healthy lives. However, if our society continues to separate the Judeo-Christian values of our beginnings from the way we do business I believe our society will hasten its decline. Is the problem that people want cheap, red strawberries and tomatoes or the government that coerces farmers to do irresponsible things to produce them? I think they are both at fault; the consumers for being ignorant or just not caring and the government for not protecting our soil.

Did I mention MONSANTO SUCKS? They do, but that is beside my point.

If the government didn't subsidize or fix prices the farmers would be able to make a reasonable living without having to destroy the soil and harm other living things. But then the farmers probably wouldn't need to buy MONSTANTO's chemicals and M~ would go out of business. We would have to get all the big agri-chemical employees out of the government, FDA and USDA and outlaw their republican campaign support.

The Enemy Within is a book by Michael Savage. I want to read it.
