Chemical Used to Make Teflon Shown to Have Correlation With Human Health Problems

Using part of a $108 million class action law suit settlement from DuPont, scientists at West Virginia University are studying the effects of PFOA; a forever lasting chemical used to make Teflon and other non-stick products including stain resistant fabric. Their initial research suggests a correlation between PFOA and: immune weakness, thyroid function, liver damage and high cholesterol in children. Please read the article to inform yourself.
